What this site is

greenwichvoicestudio.com is where I write down what I know about singing, microphones, plugins, mixing and the daily work of getting a performance onto a recording. Everything here reflects my own experience and my own opinions. It is teaching material, not a promise. A technique that works beautifully for one voice may fail completely on the next one, and a plugin setting that flatters my mix may do nothing for yours. Read what I write, try it in your own room, and trust your ears over my words every time.

What you may do with the content

You are welcome to read, print, and share my articles with students or bandmates. Quote me in a lesson plan, a forum post or a classroom handout, and credit Greenwich Voice Studio when you do. Short excerpts with a link back are always fine. What is not fine: republishing a full article anywhere, copying large sections into your own blog or course materials, or running any kind of scraper, bot or bulk downloader across the site. If you would like to reproduce a piece in full, ask me through the contact page, and I will usually say yes.

Comments

Comments are open to anyone who wants to talk about the work. Disagree with me, and welcome. Bring a counterexample, a take that worked, a mic that surprised you. What I will remove: personal attacks, spam, unrelated promotion, and anything that gives away another singer’s private material. I moderate by hand, so replies may take a day or two.

Liability

I write in good faith, but I cannot guarantee that any tip, setting or method on this site will give you a particular result. Singing and audio work carry their own risks, and you are responsible for your voice, your hearing, your gear and your sessions. If you damage a file, strain a throat or lose a mix while following something you read here, that is on you, not on me. Use your judgment, back up your work, and stop when something hurts.
