Copyright and DMCA Notices
What this site is
Everything on greenwichvoicestudio.com is written by me. The articles on mic technique, warmups, plugin chains, comping and mixing come out of my own teaching and sessions, and so do the audio examples where I include them. I hold the copyright on that material. No one else is licensed to republish it, scrape it into a content farm, or run it through a rewrite tool and post the result somewhere else. If you want to quote a paragraph with a link back, that is fine and I appreciate it. Copying whole pieces is not.
If you hold rights to something here
If you believe a specific page on this site uses your copyrighted work without permission, tell me which URL. A general note that something on the site is yours does not give me enough to work with, because I cannot search my own archive on a hunch. Point me to the exact page and the specific material you are claiming, and I will look at it directly.
What your notice needs
Put it in writing and include the following, in whatever order makes sense to you: your name and a way to reach you; a description of the work you own; the full URL on this site where you say it appears; a short explanation of why you believe the use is unauthorized; a statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not permitted by the rights holder, an agent, or the law; a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner; and your physical or electronic signature. If any of that is missing, I may have to ask you to send it again, which slows everything down.
What I will do
I read these myself, and I act on a valid notice quickly. If the claim holds up, I take the material down or replace it, and I will tell you what I did. If I think the use is legitimate, I will say so plainly and explain my reasoning rather than ignore you. Send your notice through the contact page on this site, and put copyright in the subject line so it does not sit in a queue of plugin questions.
