I have coached with Maestro Pierre Vallet and Maestro Gregory Buchalter, both of the Metropolitan Opera, and have performed in recital with William Hicks, former recital partner of Luciano Pavarotti.
I share this musical understanding with students of all levels.
I have served on the voice faculties of William Paterson University, Assumption University, Rhode Island College, St. George's School, and The Music School of the Rhode Island Philharmonic.
My students have been accepted to graduate schools, Tanglewood and Eastman School of Music summer programs, and opera companies. One 15 year old singer recently sang at Carnegie Recital Hall after successfully competing in the national competition of the Virtual Concert Hall Series.
I have a track record of success with more challenged students, whose goals may be to match pitch, sing a complete song, or participate in church choir. All students develop to the best of their potential with a healthy technique and increased confidence.
I am conversant in German and Italian, and have taught French Diction for Singers at the college level.
